Provided in this section is important information that may assist you with your purchase from the Mollycoddle Photo Props online store – how long it will take and if there are any additional costs to ensure your parcel arrives with you safely.
Please note the delivery times listed, supplied by Australia Post, are estimates only and commence from the date your parcel is shipped.

During the current situation with the COVID-19 outbreak there are some delays in shipping times and delivery times. Please allow up to an extra 5 business days for standard delivery and 1-2 days extra with express as most couriers and postal services are taking longer.

International shipping is also affected with transit and customs clearance taking much longer than usual in many cases.


Most couriers no longer ask for signatures to reduce contact.

Please be patient during this time if there are delays that are out of our control.

If you need something in a hurry please contact us to make sure you get the most accurate and up to date information possible about shipping times.

We may post smaller items in street letterboxes to minimise contact during this time. If your order is posted this way you may not get tracking updates until it reaches your delivery destination.

*Couriers are used for bulky items/ hard props when available.

Please provide a delivery address where someone can sign for your parcel to avoid the need to organize redelivery.

We cannot ship bulky items to PO boxes, so please provide a physical address.

Courier parcels are despatched from us each business day morning.

Orders placed on weekends (Friday 5pm - Sunday) will be packed on Monday for Tuesday morning shipping.

When possible we may ship your order even faster - but these are the general timeframes you can expect when placing an order.

Hard props are dispatched 1-2 business days after your shipping invoice is paid.

Order cut off times for next day shipping is 5 pm (AEST time). 

Whilst we make every effort to ship your order within the time frames supplied, unforeseen delays in shipping during peak trade times may occasionally occur. Peak trade times may include special promotions, sales and holiday periods.

Please note we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Australia post or courier companies.

*Standard shipping is free for all orders (soft props) over $150 within Australia and no extra charges apply in checkout unless you select Express or Signature on delivery. Exceptions are very large and bulky props such as baskets and bowls and boxed flower garlands (hard props). These will incur a shipping charge based on your location in addition to the cost of the prop. You will be invoiced for shipping separately for these items. Hard props such as baskets and bowls are sent via courier or Australia Post depending on the cheapest cost for your location. Express services are not available for these items unless agreed upon and any cost will be calculated based on delivery address.

All actual shipping charges incurred by us are non-refundable.

There is a small shipping charge for orders under $150. This is a (subsidised) flat rate of $9.

If shipping to a business please include the business name and full address in the 'Shipping Information' upon checkout.

Express charges are based on your post code. Most of Australia is covered by a subsidised rate of $12.50 -$14.50 depending on size/ weight. Far north Australia, Christmas Island and parts of regional SA and WA incur subsidised express charges based on the weight of your parcel. If we can send your parcel in a cheaper way you will be refunded/ provided a store credit for any excess paid.

Our soft prop shipping rates are capped no matter what size your parcel is and are significantly subsidised from actual cost.

When you order from Mollycoddle photo props, you can expect to receive your order within 2-7 business days within eastern Australia.  Please allow longer for country areas and WA. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.  For more information on the Australia Post delivery network please see

We do not offer same day shipping unless agreed upon prior to ordering. Same day shipping will incur a rush order fee of $15 in addition to your express post cost.


Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched an email will be sent with your parcel tracking number (if applicable).

If you select standard shipping without signature your parcel may be sent as untracked. Orders are sent untracked at your own risk, no liability is accepted unless you select a tracked service with signature on delivery.

Undeliverable Parcels
If delivery of a parcel cannot be made, the driver will (or at least should) leave a delivery card at the nominated delivery address. You will need to contact Fastway/ Couriers Please to arrange re-delivery or collect your parcel from a parcel connect point/ post office.
To collect Australia Post parcels in the event of inability to deliver the parcel the delivery card must be presented with a form of photo ID, and parcels must be collected within 10 business days from the date it is received by the local post office. If an undelivered parcel is not collected within 10 business days, it will be returned to us and you will be notified via email. Re-delivery is charged at Australia Post standard rates.

For smaller and express post parcels signature is not included and Australia post may leave the parcel if you are not home - if you live in an area where theft of parcels is possible please select signature on delivery in checkout or make sure your delivery address is where someone will be available to accept the parcel.

We will not accept liability for any lost parcels where signature on delivery has not been selected.

If you wish to add insurance to your shipping please contact us.

If you do specifically wish to have your parcel left (if not home) please leave a message with your order and we will place your delivery instructions on the parcel. Parcels are left at your own risk and we will not accept any liability should the parcel go missing.

Delivery outside of Australia
Mollycoddle Photo Props deliver to most countries however not all destinations are set up for automatic shipping calculation. If you receive an error message for your country please contact us and we will provide you with pricing. We use Australia Post 
Pack & Track International service for international orders. Our rates are currently slightly lower than the actual Pack & Track International charges.

Please note that the international shipping calculator although fairly accurate may at times be out by a small amount and an adjustment necessary. Any inadvertent overcharge in shipping will be refunded either as a store credit or as a refund to your PayPal account. Rarely the calculator may underestimate and an adjustment may be necessary. You will always end up paying the correct shipping charge (or less), not too much!! Please feel free to contact us for an accurate shipping quote prior to placing your order.

For international orders over $Au200 enter code INTERNATIONAL in checkout for $8.50 off your postage cost. Code must be entered to receive the discount. It cannot be applied retrospectively.

For international orders please be aware of your country's customs charges and import limitations. It is your responsibility to complete any testing or documentation required by your customs, and any charges relating to your import are solely your responsibility. It is not possible for us to give advice on the import regulations of other countries.

We send all except very small orders with a tracked service. If you would like your international order sent untracked we can do so - it is usually much cheaper. If you request untracked shipping you also accept all risk for loss or damage. We cannot provide any cover if you choose an untracked service.

We are currently offering untracked international postage to select destinations under trial. Please note if you select an untracked option all risk for loss or damage is accepted by you. We cannot provide any information on your parcel or any compensation should it be lost or damaged in transit if you select untracked shipping. ***Australia Post has suspended all untracked international shipping due to the pandemic. We will offer this again once available by Australia Post***



At Mollycoddle Photo Props we take great pride in our products and thoroughly inspect each item before it is shipped. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us for an exchange or credit provided it is unused:

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the original shipping date and should be sent prepaid. We will not accept CODs.
Shipping charges cannot be refunded. This means the actual standard Australia post shipping cost incurred by us in sending your parcel is not refundable (our domestic shipping charges are all lower than actual cost).
All merchandise returned must be unworn, unused, in original condition, and with the packaging and tags intact.

No returns can be made for worn or used items due to health regulations.
Unspun wool items and headbands/ tiebacks cannot be returned due to their delicate nature so please choose carefully.

Indicate on the back of your invoice form the reason of your return so we can better serve you in the future.
Packing slips are required for all returns. We recommend that you return the package back to us via traceable carrier and that you insure the full amount of the merchandise you are returning. We are not responsible for missing packages.
Damages will be returned at our discretion. We have the right to deny credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
Please allow 2 weeks for the processing of your return/exchange from the date we receive your package.
Full price merchandise returned within 14 days will be issued with a store credited for the purchase amount less any shipping charges and additional fees incurred by us.

All items purchased as Sale/Clearance are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
If you receive a damaged or mis-shaped item, you must notify us within 3 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a return. We will only accept defective products at our discretion.
If you receive a package from us that looks damaged to the extent that the merchandise may be damaged, refuse delivery and let us know by email immediately.

Please note that SALE, CLEARANCE and SPECIAL OFFER items are not eligible for return unless faulty (and not described with flaws) so please choose carefully! 

Custom orders and OOAK items are not eligible for return.

Digital downloads are final and not eligible for refunds or returns.

We are happy to exchange items within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unworn and in new, original condition, and is accompanied by a copy of original online sales receipt. All items purchased as Sale/Clearance/ Seconds items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

A return shipping charge will apply for all exchanges, with the exception of defective items.
Include your name, address, phone number, email address, and which item you would like to exchange for. Please return item using a shipping service that provides a tracking number, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Your item will be returned to you in the package we received it in unless it arrived to us damaged. Thank you for your understanding. 

We like to do our part to save the environment and thus may use recycled packaging. 

Pre-orders of hard props are non-refundable. Shipping for all hard props is calculated based on delivery address location and will be invoiced once pre-order items arrive in stock and are ready to be shipped.




Afterpay orders

We do not pass on the 6%+ 30c fee Afterpay charges us on purchases, however if an order that is paid with Afterpay is cancelled your refund will be for the amount of the order minus the Afterpay fee. This is simply because Afterpay do not refund their fees even when a transaction is cancelled. Thanks for your understanding.


PayPal orders

PayPal no longer refund fees on cancelled transactions. If an order paid via PayPal is cancelled your refund will be for the amount of the order minus the current PayPal fee. We are not able to absorb any fees on cancelled orders. Thanks for your understanding.


Selecting a store credit for any returned items avoids incurring any fees by payment gateways.
